  • 250 g shrimp peeled and deveined, tails on
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 2 tbsp olive oil or avocado oil
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice freshly squeezed
  • 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes optional
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • fresh parsley chopped, for garnish

Instructions
 

  • Rinse the shrimp under cold water, then pat dry with a paper towel. Peel and devein, leaving tails on if desired.
  • Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant (1–2 minutes), being careful not to burn.
  • Add red pepper flakes, lemon juice, salt, and pepper. Stir to combine.
  • Add shrimp and cook, stirring frequently, until shrimp turn pink and opaque (3–5 minutes).
  • Remove from heat. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve warm.

Notes

This dish pairs well with rice, quinoa, or roasted veggies. You can also customize with other herbs or swap olive oil for avocado oil.
